With 14 lines serving more than 300 stations in every area of the capital, the Paris Metro is the most popular way of getting around the city.

This original guidebook suggests how you can use those 14 lines to discover Paris in an entirely novel manner. For each metro station you will learn exactly what monuments and museums there are to visit, what architecture you can see, how to take a walk through history, or alternatively, how to go off the beaten track. The Address Book section will tell you where to stop for a drink, enjoy a meal, or the best place to go for a night on the town - not to mention where to shop. You will also learn about each station's history, and if you are planning to meet up with friends, we suggest a nice place for a rendezvous.
