Divided into 7 chapters, this volume is dedicated to the study of various types of outerwear for women : jackets, coats, overcoats, and capes. It also includes a chapter on men's outerwear and an in-depth look at a number of technical forms used in production.

Like the two previous books, all patterns are clearly and simply illustrated to provide professionals and students with a comprehensive understanding of patternmaking and to allow anyone using this series to quickly master the interpretation of fashion sketches.

Biographie

Antonio Donnanno began in his career in his family's tailor shop and later, after majoring in history and philosophy, focused on the teaching of costume history and patternmaking techniques. In 1982, he founded the acknowledged Euromode School Italia in Bergamo, which soon expanded with new branches on the international stage and where, alongside his teaching duties. Donnanno also serves as director. Antonio Donnanno has written dozens of books about fashion and has his own consulting firm, focusing on patternmaking and business.

Elisabetta Kuky Drudi currently works with Italian and international companies as a designer and illustrator. Her five years of experience running her own business have led her to plan and manage fashion shows and collections for companies in Italy and Europe. Alongside her mentor Tiziana Paci she is the author of the international bestsellers Fashion Details, Figure Drawing for Fashion Design and Figure Drawing for Men's Fashion. Today, she works as a fashion and textile designer with prestigious international firms.
