"Yesterday evening, at sunset, I was sketching the castle when the sky was set alight with gold ; all the birds living in the rocks stirred to life to celebrate, and the insects, everything flew about and cried out at this splendour. The plain was scattered with emeralds and rubies and it was a pure delight to live and breath. If you wish to come, come soon.
