Biographie

Michel Biehn lives in the Provençal village of Isle-sur-la-Sorgue. He is the author of Cooking with Herbs : The Flavor of Provence and Recipes from a Provençal Kitchen, both published by Éditions Flammarion. He has been cooking for family and friends and experimenting with his favorite recipes for over twenty years. At the age of fifty he noticed that his lifelong love of food was making it difficult to keep his weight in check. He developed the slimming recipes in this book, which demonstrate that healthy living need not rule out delicious dishes that delight all the senses.

Gilles Martin-Raget is an acclaimed photographer, specializing in maritime subjects and food and drink. His work has been published in numerous magazines in his native France and he previously collaborated with Michel Biehn on Cooking with Herbs.
