Biographie

Claude Larnac, a retired teacher, has shared a lifelong passion with the aqueduct, its world, its history. He was president of the Inter-communal Defense Committee of the Pont du Gard Archeological Site (CIDS) from its foundation in 1990 through to its dissolution in 2006. For years, he has enthusiastically shared his knowledge and discoveries, guiding hundreds of visitors along the walks described in this book.

Honorary lecturer in French literature, François Garrigue has published a lot of university research. General Secretary of the CIDS from 1995, he is one of the figureheads of cultural life in Uzège. He is the author of Maroc Enchanté (Arthaud).
