The psyche is a funny thing. When sleep comes, we're slaves to its pull. Dreams become portals to the parts of our minds left untapped. In these texts, Ingrid Calderon offers complete surrender into these doorways. She hopes to entice and uncover her soul to show, that we're all suffering from the same condition. The human kind.

After hundreds of dream journal entries, impromptu tarot card readings, rooftop meditations, legal marijuana tokin' and strolls through the hot streets of Los Angeles, she has conjured and summoned some mental deities to make some sense of it all. What appeared, took its own form, morphing into the thorny thing that sits on the tip of her pen.

Biographie

Ingrid Calderon is a Salvadorian refugee residing in Echo Park (Los Angeles). Her work has been featured in Leste Mag, Electric Cereal, ZO Magazine, Drunk Monkeys, FORTH Magazine, Shoe Music Press, and the Poems to F*ck To anthology. She's also released two full-length poetry books entitled Things Outside and Wayward. Her aim is to splice the credos, twist them up and spit em' out into writing that grinds your crux. At least, that's the idea.
